BSEB Bihar Board – Bihar School Examination Board

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is a board of education in the state of Bihar in India. It is responsible for conducting secondary and higher secondary school examinations in the state, as well as for the development and promotion of school education in Bihar.

The BSEB was established in 1952, and it is headquartered in Patna, the capital of Bihar. The board conducts two main examinations each year: the Secondary School Examination (for Class 10 students) and the Higher Secondary School Examination (for Class 12 students). These examinations are held in February and March, and the results are announced in May.

In addition to conducting examinations, the BSEB is also responsible for preparing the syllabus and curriculum for schools in Bihar, as well as for the development and implementation of educational policies and programs in the state. The board works closely with the government of Bihar and other educational organizations to promote the development of quality education in the state.

Bihar Board 10th subjects

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) conducts the Secondary School Examination (SSE) for Class 10 students in the state of Bihar, India. The SSE is also known as the Matriculation examination.

The subjects offered in the SSE are:

1. English
2. Hindi
3. Mathematics
4. Social Science
5. Science
6. Sanskrit/Urdu/Bangla/Maithili/Arabic/Farsi/Bhojpuri
7. Second Indian Language
8. Optional Subject

The first six subjects are compulsory for all students, while the second Indian language and optional subject are optional. Students can choose from a list of languages and optional subjects offered by the BSEB.

In addition to the written examination, the SSE also includes a practical examination for certain subjects, such as Science and Mathematics. The practical examination is conducted at the school level, and the marks obtained in the practical examination are added to the marks obtained in the written examination to determine the overall score.

Bihar Board 12th subjects

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) conducts the Higher Secondary School Examination (HSE) for Class 12 students in the state of Bihar, India. The HSE is also known as the Intermediate examination.

The subjects offered in the HSE are:

Students can choose from the above subjects based on their interests and career goals. Some subjects, such as English and Hindi, are compulsory for all students. The remaining subjects can be chosen based on the stream (Arts, Science, or Commerce) that the student has opted for.
